More about me

Hi! Here is a little bit of extra information about myself and the things I enjoy about this life apart from research!

I was born and raised in Tenerife, the biggest of the Canary Islands. I believe it has an irresistible charm, both because of its natural landscapes (beaches and mountains) and its climate, as well as its people. Even though that is common in all the islands of the archipelago, each one is unique in its own way.

Both Tenerife and La Palma have a special perk: high-altitude terrain thanks to their volcanic nature, which has favored the establishment of two world-ranked observatory facilities: Observatorio del Teide (2390 m) and Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos (2396 m).

In my free time I love exercising. I’ve been into running and surfing for a while, and now I have included cycling and swimming, aiming to become a triathle!

I am also passionate about exploring nature. I love hiking to the tallest peaks around to enjoy sunsets.

And the summer of 2026 I did a crazy adventure: I hiked all across Tenerife, from left to right!
